Topic Synopsis:

Because of recent technological advances and movement in the Renewable Energy industry, industry leaders in this space have found that the need for increased learning, training, upskilling, and reskilling within their project management Community needs transformation.

PMI  Houston is working closely with their partner (DEMS)  to build a robust professional development training program to prepare project managers for the future of work in the Renewable Energy industry and the challenges and opportunities of this space. PMI PBA, PgMP, and PfMP certifications will be additional skills in renewables to address the complexity and challenges of renewable energy capital projects. The training program will be a customized learning experience designed with the critical information needed to perform effectively and efficiently as a project manager, program manager, or portfolio manager within the renewable space.

Our main goal is to engage with the industry stakeholders to start a vibrant discussion and talk about our upcoming Renewables program so that people can get involved early and provide early feedback and input. We want to expose as many people as possible to the chance to move to Renewables and get the proper training to be effective in that environment as an individual contributor or a leader.

Today this is challenging. How can we grow our skills? How do we prepare for the future of work in renewable space?

PMIH-DEMS Renewable Energy Project Management Training Program  will help project professionals to stay on top of the trends and see what’s ahead for The Clean Energy Economy—and your career.
