PMP Transition Workshop (Virtual)
Description:
This one-day workshop is designed for those individuals who have prepared for the PMP® exam prior to January 2, 2021 and have not yet taken the PMP® exam. This one-day workshop has been developed to help participants transition to the new exam which was introduced by PMI® as of January 2, 2021. This workshop can also serve as a refresher for those individuals who have taken PMP prep training for the new exam but have not yet taken the exam.
The changes to the PMP® exam, which are significant, include the following:
- Changes in tested domain knowledge from five domains to three domains.
- The new domains include People (42%), Process (50%) and Business Environment (8%).
- The People domain includes 14 tasks along with key enablers and tools.
- The Process domain includes 17 tasks along with key enablers and tools.
- The Business Environment domain includes 4 tasks along with key enablers and tools.
- Half of the new exam is based on agile or hybrid approaches. Questions on the new exam will not be isolated to any particular domain or task.
Note: This workshop is not intended to be a replacement for the PMP® preparation workshop. If you have taken a PMP® preparation workshop prior to the 6th edition of the PMBOK®, you should consider taking a PMP® preparation workshop for the 2021 edition of the exam. Cancellations received prior to 14 days of the start date for the course qualifies for a refund minus $100 administrative handling fee. Cancellations received after 14 days from the start of the course qualify for a refund minus $250 administrative handling fee. Allow 14 days for processing of refunds.
