Pamela J. Zelbst is a Professor of Supply Chain Management at Sam Houston State University (SHSU) in the College of Business Administration (COBA).  In addition to teaching she serves as the Director for the Center for Innovation & Technology and the Sower Business Technology Laboratory.   She is tasked with identifying and acquiring platform technologies that will have a significant impact on a wide variety of industries. She has authored and co-authored over 40 published articles, 40 conference papers, the 3rd edition of a book and was awarded two U.S. Patents.  She has been an invited speaker at the Industry Studies conference sponsored by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, the NASA RFID Connectivity Event, and at a Tech Champs Event at Johnson Space Center sponsored by the Houston Technology Center. Dr. Zelbst is the 2020 recipient of the University Excellence in Service Award for Sam Houston State University. 

Topic Synopsis:

An eminent risk encountered during a project may include a mystery stakeholder.  This stakeholder, if not addressed, could derail the entire project.  During this presentation, our focus is on a historical home project.  We will discuss analyzing your environment so that you might be able to uncover mystery stakeholders and begin to understand what their expectation might be.  The impact of mystery stakeholders if left unaddressed could derail the entire project. We will address strategies for managing these stakeholders.
