Topic Synopsis:
Attendees will experience 3 hours of exposure to project management best practices. In the workshop, we will explore decision making strategies relative to project scenarios from a simulator. We will review sample project documentation and tools (i.e. Gantt, Network Diagram, Tracking Finances, Reporting Techniques, Schedule management) and discuss their importance. The group will examine project budgeting concerns and will evaluate the use of Earned Value Management for project reporting. Predictive and Agile approaches will be compared and discussed. Terminology workbook provided.
