Topic Synopsis:

In today's complex and fast-paced project environments, the ability to frame decisions is crucial for project success. This session focuses on introducing Decision Quality, to understand the decision at hand, frame alternatives and evaluate in the face of uncertainty.

Decision Quality is a comprehensive approach that can be scaled to enhance decision-making and effectiveness in all phases of a project’s life cycle. This approach is designed to engage, when necessary, with a diverse group of stakeholders to transform an opportunity or problem into clear, actionable strategies.

The session covers essential steps such as 1) define the decision, 2) develop viable alternatives, 3) evaluate the alternatives, and 4) decide.

Case study examples will be used to illustrate the Decision Quality toolset and bring color to the workflow. We will also discuss the scalability of Decision Quality by framing with decision trees for quicker, operational decisions.

Join us to learn more about Decision Quality principles and how to apply them to your work.

Learning Objectives:

• How do we measure a quality decision?
• How do we identify the ‘right’ decision?
• How do we develop alternatives (options) for the decision at hand?
• How do we evaluate the alternatives (options) and ultimately decide?
