Pre Meeting: Managing Up! Better Boss Relationships!
    Margaret A Johnson
    Ideal Training, Inc.
Margaret A Johnson is from Michigan but moved to Texas as fast as she could! She utilizes her B.S. Mechanical Engineering, MBA, professional engineering license and coaching credentials to inspire people and organizations to move from S.O.S. (Same Old Stuff) to W.O.W.! (Well On the Way) to where they want to be.  Her experience ranges from engineering and management in power to sales and consulting in the oil and gas industry.  As President of Ideal Training, Inc she trains and coaches professionals with a mission to unleash creativity, ignite ideas and remove barriers to success to assist clients in solving problems and opening doors, and to keep her leadership and fitness classes engaging.

    Topic Description:

Whether you're middle management, a contractor, or the CEO, everyone has a BOSS. We will focus on improving one's skills in dealing with someone that you report to, whether formally or informally, inside or outside the organization. Guest speaker, Margaret Johnson, will help participants see how the assumptions that they make about their relationships with their supervisors may, in fact, create problems for themselves and others. To start, participants will learn how to analyze and work through hidden assumptions. Then they will determine the strengths and weaknesses of their supervisors and themselves so that they are able to clarify work styles, expectations and personal assets. Participants will also practice techniques to deal with less than ideal bosses. The goal of this session is to help eliminate assumptions, stress, and inefficiency in one's relationship with a supervisor; and transform a boss/subordinate relationship into a true partnership.

    Topic Description:

Business Process Management (BPM) can help organizations of all sizes become more efficient and responsive to the dynamic demands of their market and customers. Applying cognitive technology to BPM (also known as Business Process Automation) can help organizations save time, increase agility, and reduce cost by automating their manual, repetitive, and rule-based processes.

However the right implementation of Business Process Automation in most organizations is an art and a science. To gain full benefit from Business Process Automation, a business must first weigh several factors, such as understanding and streamlining internal processes and defining a clear strategy and roadmap before applying technology automation to their business.

In this session we will discuss a framework and best practices for a holistic approach to Business Process Automation, considering the end-to-end business process management and consolidated demand for the technology application across multiple business units.
