Meet Our Instructors

    Fabrice Bouchereau, PE, PMP, CQM is a licensed Professional Industrial Engineer, Coach and Trainer with over 15 years of hands-on experience implementing and managing lean, continuous improvement, quality and project management systems.  

    Fabrice Bouchereau has setup and managed plants with up to 1000 employees. His experience changing company culture and improving processes spans across a broad range of industries and products including textiles, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, consumer goods, heavy manufacturing and oil and gas.

    Fabrice is fluent in English, French, and Spanish.  As a trainer and coach, he has trained hundreds of employees on lean, quality, project management and facilitation topics in the United States, the Caribbean, Mexico and Latin America.


    Eddie Merla, PMI-ACP, PMP®, is a Senior Project Manager, Coach, and Trainer with over 20 years of hands-on Project Management experience.  He has over seven years experience leading international consulting engagements and projects.  He has implemented Project Management Offices (PMO’s) for multiple organizations and in six different industries (Banking, Airlines, Information Technology, Automotive, Consulting, and Healthcare).

    Eddie Merla has managed project budgets and programs up to $150 million and 200 personnel.  His project management experiences include North America, Europe, the Middle East, Mexico, and Asia.  He has assisted clients with the implementation of project management strategies and best practices.  He also implemented organizational structures to support large projects and organizations to improve delivery of project and program results.

    As a trainer and coach, Eddie Merla has trained several thousand project management professionals throughout the world on project management, agility, leadership and soft skills topics.  He has been a frequent speaker at the Project management Institute (PMI®) both at the local level and at the International level.  He has been a PMI® speaker at the North American Global Congress, the EMEA Congress, the Asia Pacific Congress, and at the Latin America Global Congress.  He has delivered seminars in nine different countries.


    Walter A. Viali, PMP is a Project Management and Project Management Office (PMO) Management Consultant, Instructor, and Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with a varied background in different industries, which has included several domestic and international assignments.  He is the co-author of the recently published book titled “Accelerating Change with Organizational Project Management: The New Paradigm for Change”.  Walter was a Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA) for many years and has extensive knowledge and experience in Strategic Business Planning, Business Reengineering, Information Systems Planning, Portfolio Management, Process and Project Management, Project Management Office (PMO) implementation and Joint Application Development (JAD) session leading (approximately 5,000 hours of facilitation in the U.S., Europe and Asia in all phases of planning, application development, process redesign and problem solving).  He has significant experience in Process and Project Management assessments based on the Software Engineering Institute’s Capability Maturity Model (SEI CMM) and PMI’s Organizational Project Management Maturity Model (OPM3).  Walter is also an adjunct professor for the University Of Houston College Of Technology in the Project Management Faculty.  He has been quoted in several trade journals and books over the years and has published articles on Business Reengineering and Information Technology issues.  Walter has made numerous presentations on Strategic Planning, Application Development strategies and Business Reengineering at several conferences, seminars, colleges and universities from 1987 up to the present.   He has also delivered several presentations on Project Management topics to numerous PMI Chapters in North and Central America, Asia, and Europe, as well as at the PMI North American Congresses in Houston and Anaheim.  Walter was a member of the PMI team that authored the first release of the PMI OPM3 assessment standard.  He was on the Board of the PMI Houston Chapter from 2002 until 2008 and it’s President in 2007.  He was also on the Board of the PMI Clear Lake-Galveston Chapter in 2009-2010. Walter was the Region Mentor for PMI’s Region 6 (23 PMI Chapters plus 3 Chapters in formation, and 24,000 PMI members in the South Central U.S.) from 2011 through 2014.  He was also a member of the PMI Chapter Training Quality Assurance team, responsible for the review of PMI Chapter training course offerings worldwide, in 2014 and 2015.


    Don R. James, International experience in successful implementation, QA/QC, deployment, and support of business application products. Project Manager and business analysis consultant for worldwide Supply Chain and Strategic Sourcing initiatives. Skills, knowledge, and experience in product and project management of the life cycle and QA/QC of application software for organizations that implement continuous product and process improvement. Serving as an Adjunct Professor and organizational instructor with over 3,000 students since 2002 for approximately 80,000 contact hours.

    Alana M. Hill, PMP is a passionate speaker, author, and consultant at 2Hill Consulting Services. Her experience as an engineer and certified Project Management Professional (PMP) in upstream oil and gas provides a real‐world insight into how people and teams can excel. She has been recognized for her excellent communication, leadership, and team‐building skills. Her international, cross functional business knowledge shapes her perspective on change management and seasons her presentations. Throughout her career, Ms. Hill has led diverse teams and delivered high-impact workshops all over the world. Ms. Hill has partnered with PMO To Go since 2014 to teach Project Management Fundamentals and PMP certification courses.

    Before establishing her consultancy in 2006, Ms. Hill enjoyed a colorful career with Schlumberger advancing from a Field Engineer to a Program Manager. In her tenure with the oilfield services giant, she not only managed technical and business projects, but also learned to drive an 18-wheeler!  Ms. Hill holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University and has twenty years of leadership and training expertise.
